To strengthen understanding of nutrition labelling among education stakeholders, including teachers and community organisations personnel, and to assist them to promote the practical ways of using nutrition labelling, the Centre for Food Safety (CFS) develop a new training kit, Training Package on Nutrition Labelling, in 2014. The package includes the following items:
- Training videos (6 modules)
- Training props
- Proposed training plans (4 Key Learning Points)
- Worksheets
- Training Package on Nutrition Labelling: Evaluation Form
Education stakeholders can make reference to the proposed training plans and make use of the training props, training video, worksheet and resources produced by the CFS to raise target audiences' interests and to enhance their knowledge and skill on using nutrition labelling.
Workshop on Training Package on Nutrition Labelling
In order to let education stakeholders to grasp the skills of applying the training package in their workplaces as well as to enhance their understanding of nutrition labelling, the CFS has also organised Workshops on Training Package on Nutrition Labelling. Public individuals are also welcomed but priority will be given to staff of community organisations. For interested parties, please complete and return the enrolment form to the CFS via mail or fax. Each participating organisation/public individual can get one set of Training Package on Nutrition Labelling and a Certificate of Attendance. Details of the workshops are shown below:
