Reason For Issuing Alert |
- When following up on an earlier relevant incident, the CFS found that the above-mentioned sole importer has imported 180 cartons of the product without obtaining import permission from the DFEH.

Action Taken by the Centre for Food Safety |
- The CFS immediately instructed the sole importer to stop sale of the product concerned, remove them from shelves and initiate a recall, and will trace its source and distribution.
- The CFS will alert the trade to the incident and remind importers of milk products that they should comply with the relevant requirements.
- It will continue to follow up and take appropriate action to safeguard food safety and public health. Investigation is ongoing.

Advice to the Trade |
- The trade should also stop using or selling the products concerned immediately if they possess them.

- Do not to consume the affected product if they have bought any.
