Notice Regarding the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance
The personal data provided by means of this registration will be used by the Centre for Food Safety for the joining the e-news on food safety matters network, communication and correspondences, as well as for statistics and research purposes of the Centre. The provision of personal data by means of this registration is voluntary. You have a right to request access to or the correction of your personal data as stated in this registration. Enquiries concerning the personal data collected by means of this registration including the request for access and correction, should be addressed to the Risk Communication Section at 28675698 (Tel.) or 2893 3547 (Fax.)

Unsubscribing and updating procedure
All subscribers have a right to request correction or unsubscribe the registration. An interim reply will be given within 10 calendars days upon receipt of such request. In case a substantive reply cannot be made within 21 calendar days upon receipt of the request, we will update you on the progress. For request of un-subscription, all the data will be deleted from our backup system after 1 month. If email was bounced-back more than or equal to 3 times, the subscription will be automatically deleted from our operational system without any notice.
