Amendment to the Food and Drugs (Composition and Labelling) Regulation
The Food and Drugs (Composition and Labelling)(Amendment) Regulation 2014 which introduces reduced fees for applications and renewal applications for small volume exemption from Nutrition Labelling submitted by electronic means through the Food Import Control system from $345 and $335 to $265 and $250 respectively, was published in the Gazette on 17 January 2014 (L.N. 3 of 2014) and passed through the negative vetting procedures of the Legislative Council on February 19. The fee reduction will be implemented with effect from 24 March 2014.
