The Harmful Substances in Food (Amendment) Regulation 2011 was published in the Gazette on 9 Dec 2011 (L.N. 173 of 2011) and passed by the Legislative Council. With effect from 1 March 2012, the restriction of prohibited substances (including the three exogenous estrogens) in Schedule 2 will be extended to cover dried milk, condensed milk and reconstituted milk.
