Target population
This survey covered the Hong Kong population aged 18 or above. Eligible people all over the territory had been selected through an anonymous and scientific household address sampling procedure. Around 3750 respondents completed the interviews.
Data collection
Food consumption data had been collected by two face-to-face and telephone interviews with each respondent. Other information such as the respondent's weight and height, as well as demographic information like gender and age, had also been collected.
