In order to have a better idea on the impact of Nutrition Labelling Scheme on prepackaged food availability, the Centre for Food Safety commissioned an independent consultant to conduct a market survey (Survey) covering three survey periods (September 2009 to January 2010; March to April 2010; and March to April 2011) to assess the situation before and after the commencement of the Food and Drugs (Composition and Labelling) (Amendment: Requirements for Nutrition Labelling and Nutrition Claim) Regulation 2008. The result of the Survey is provided below for reference.
