Any person who advertises for sale, sells or manufactures for sale any prepackaged food which is not marked or labelled in compliance with regulation 4A(1) or 4B(1) commits an offence and is liable to a fine at level 5 and to imprisonment for 6 months.
- Prosecution will be taken should there be sufficient evidence.
- The CFS will inform the trade, continue to follow up on the case and take appropriate action.
