The Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department is organizing the Food Hygiene Seminar 2011(Public Series) which will take place during October and November 2011. The objective s of the seminar is to publicize proper food handling and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) to members of the public and employees of food business. Through the active participation and tripartite collaboration among the government , stakeholder and consumer, the seminar promotes the adoption of the HACCP System and the development of "Food Safety Plan" in food processing, thereby enhancing food safety.
The Centre for Food Safety will organize three sessions of free seminars . Members of the public and employees of food business are welcome to attend.
The seminars will be conducted in Cantonese. All participants will be awarded a "Certificate of Attendance" and a delicate souvenir.

Enrolment will be handled on a first come first served basis.
