The Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department will organize "Make a Wise Food Choice" Food Hygiene Seminar 2013 (Public Series) during the period from July to September 2013.
The content of the seminar will include the common food safety problems encountered today, handy tips on safe food preparation, buying food/food ingredients from hygienic and reliable sources and how to make use of nutrition labels for choosing foods with lower sodium content. Through active participation of these seminars, public awareness on food safety and healthy eating will be enhanced.
There are four sessions of seminars and are free of charge. The seminars will be conducted in Cantonese. Members of the public are welcome to attend. All participants will be awarded a "Certificate of Attendance" and a souvenir.
