The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) has been a World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Risk Analysis of Chemicals in Food since October 2010. With a wealth of international experts coming to Hong Kong for the 53rd session of Codex Committee on Food Additives meeting (CCFA53), CFS treasured the opportunity and had taken the opportunity to organize a half-day seminar on 31 March 2023 after the CCFA53 session was officially closed, as a separate event.
The seminar, entitled "Enhancing International Partnership in Food Safety", was conducted in the afternoon of 31 March 2023 (Friday) in the Grand Ballroom of Regal Airport Hotel Hong Kong. The seminar aimed at serving as a forum for sharing and exchanging the latest development and best practices in relation to various aspects of food safety. The seminar also provided a valuable occasion for enhancing the awareness of Codex Alimentarius Commission and celebrating its 60th anniversary among the various stakeholders.
