Reason For Issuing Alert | The affected products might have been contaminated with a plasticiser, Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate/Bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP). |
Action Taken by the Centre for Food Safety | The CFS has alerted the trade including distributors and major retailers of the incident. The CFS will be in close liaison with the Taiwanese authority on the incident, monitor the situation and take appropriate follow-up actions. |
Advice to the Trade | Stop selling the affected products immediately |
Advice to Consumers | Not to consume the affected products for the time being |
