• When handling a relevant complaint, the CFS found that the above-mentioned products, for which no import permission from the DFEH had been obtained, were sold at several retail outlets and online shops.
• According to the Milk Regulation (Cap. 132AQ), any person who sells any milk or milk beverage imported into Hong Kong from a source of manufacture other than a source of manufacture which has been approved by DFEH shall commit an offence.

• Upon follow-up investigation, it was found that the importer concerned had imported the products. The CFS immediately instructed the importer concerned and vendors concerned to stop selling the product concerned, remove from shelves, initiate a recall of the products in question and traced their source and distribution.
• The CFS will alert the trade, continue to follow up on the incident and take appropriate action. Investigation is ongoing.

• Stop using or selling the product concerned immediately if they possess it.

• Should not consume the affected product.
