Recall of Bottled Water which might be Contaminated with E. coli in Ireland

Name of Products and Sizes	Pure Spring Natural Still Water In 500ml, 1-litre, 2-litre and 5-litre retail size bottles and 19-litre water-cooler bottles.
Name of Manufacturer	Pure Spring, Lisnalong, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.
Durability Indication	Best Before date of “December 2008” and “December 2009”
Reason for Recall	Presence of E. coli in the bottled water, which indicates faecal contamination of the supply water used for the product.
Action Taken by the Centre for Food Safety	The CFS has contacted the Irish authorities for more information. The CFS has alerted the trade and is closely monitoring the situation.
Advice to the Trade	Stop selling the affected products.
Advice to Consumers	Stop drinking the affected products.
