Successful promotion of reduction of dietary sodium (salt) in Hong Kong relies on the collaboration among different stakeholders, particularly the government, food trade and consumers. In addition to the government policy support and health promotion, the food trade should also be concerned about relevant issues and make greater efforts to revise product formulations and modify recipes to produce food with less sodium (salt) to consumers.
