Biography
Dr. Nobuyoshi Shiozawa is the Assistant Manager of the Food Labelling Division in the Consumer Affairs Agency (CAA) in Japan , responsible for managing the Nutrition Labelling Standards and consideration of issues concerning Food Function Claims. He is the Japanese delegate to the Codex Committee on Food Labeling and Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses.
Dr . Shiozawa is a R egistered Dieti t ian. He received his Bachelor of Applied Bio-sciences and Master of Food and Nutritional Science at Tokyo University of Agriculture and PhD at Okayama University prior to working as a Research Associate at Okayama University . Then he joined the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, followed by being seconded to CAA.
